VMware seems to be loosing/replacing executives nowdays at a rate that is astounding!
It has been suggested by a number of bloggers that it’s a cunning strategy from new CEO Paul Maritz, who’s hiring experienced, “old-school” leaders from Microsoft, IBM, CA and Borland.

It’s also been suggested by Alessandro Perilli that this may be fallout from the “new culture” that Maritz is establishing within the company.
This time the company CIO, Tayloe Stansbury, left VMware this month to join Intuit as their CTO.
VMware also lost Reza Malekzadeh, the former Sr. Director of Products & Marketing (EMEA)
