Pete Steege over at Seagate.com has written a great article discussing how Giovanni Oteri has committed fully to virtualization at his data center at Iper Montebello.
The three legs of the virtualization stool are described by the architecture Giovanni has employed:
- VMWare x86 server virtualization
- Xsigo I/O virtualization
- Compellent storage virtualization
I wonder if they have looked at esXpress as a possible backup package?
