Last week TechTarget.com posted their “Top 10 VMware products to try in 2009″.
This year, VMware will release more products than it ever has, and with vSphere 4 going on GA in a little over a week I’m sure we can expect a few more surprises to come.
The top ten VMware products listed by TechTarget were:

* vNetvork Distributed Switch and Cisco Nexus 1000v virtual switch

* vCenter Data Revovery
* vCenter ConfigControl
* vCenter Orchestrator
* vCenter Chargeback
* vCenter AppSpeed
* vShield Zones
Fault tolerance being at number one puts VMware in a great position as vSphere 4 has it listed as one of it’s new, key functionalities. It also puts products like esXpress in a favourable position for the year as they also support fault tolerance.
