2010 sees esXpress fixing a glitch while supporting previous customers

by Patrick Redknap on January 4, 2010

esXpressLogoWe were all aware that the “Millennium Bug” caused a few issues when the last decade arrived, and in much the same way esXpress will be releasing  an update imminently, to fix an issue caused by the arrival of 2010!

In an official statement PHD Virtual, the creators of esXpress outlined the issue stating:

“We wanted to make all of our customers aware of an issue with performing Delta backups since January 1, 2010. Full and De-Dupe backups are still functioning, but we want to apologize for our code mishap and assure our customers we’re working on a fix for this issue right now to  get a new release to you as soon as we can.

We will also be extending the Delta Backup fix to those customers whose PHD Virtual support has already expired, Free of Charge

We’ll be posting another update on the issue soon”

You can also follow this issue on the esXpress Support Forums.
